A method for measuring cells includes the steps of: scanning frequency points; judging whether the signal level of one of the scanned frequency points meets the predetermined measuring condition, if so, identifying the cell corresponding to the frequency point,and measuring the signal level of the cell. With the technical solution of the present invention, it is possible to limit the number of the cells measured by UE, so as to eliminate the heavy effort caused by the measurement of the signal levels of a plurality of cells. |
