A siRNA(small interfering RNA) having antiviral activity against coxsackievirus A24 is provided to suppress the cytotoxicity by the standard and wild coxsackievirus and inhibit viral replication, thereby treating acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis. The siRNA has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:1. The antiviral composition against coxsackievirus A24 comprises the siRNA of SEQ ID NO:1. The pharmaceutical composition for treating acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis or acute flaccid paralysis comprises the siRNA of SEQ ID NO:1.
