<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve such a state as a resource is in an idle state while a resource is utilized highly, in a print-shop. <P>SOLUTION: A print job is input into the print-shop, is collected in an electronic submitting system 55 such as a computer system and/or a scanner, is sorted in the submitting system or another place to be batch-processed, and is transferred thereafter to a printing engine. A printed document outgoes from the printing engine to be fed, for example, to a gathering machine 60, a cutting machine 62, a binding machine 64 or the like. A finishing area includes an automatic or manual area for finishing work, and the area includes an automatic or manual insertion machine 70. The document is moved finally to a postage measuring station 72 and a delivery station 74.
