<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace hierarchy, to which a node device belongs, without discontinuance of regeneration of information at each node device when distributing the information in a network system with layered structure. <P>SOLUTION: Since capability of information distribution of a node device changes with various factors every moment, the hierarchy, to which the node device 2 belongs, is replaced dynamically according to the capability of information distribution. In this case, each node device 2 performs real-time regeneration of streaming-distribution data, so regenerating of data will break off at part of the node devices 2 if exchange processing of the hierarchy takes a good amount of time. Accordingly, the replacement process is performed only if a sufficient quantity of content data is buffered at all node devices 2 included in a node device group as object for replacement.
