CONNECTION RESTRICTION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection restriction system and a connection restriction method which can defend a computer at a connection place from excessive connections regardless of the layer or the protocol.

SOLUTION: The connection restriction system receiving a plurality of connection request packets transmitted to a connection place and managing the provision of those connection request packets to that connection place includes an inspection means 100 for searching an extraction object packet having a keyword for detecting a connection place identifier from the plurality of connection request packets, extracting the connection place identifier from the extraction object packet thus searched and counting the number of extracted connection place identifiers, and a means 200 for controlling the provision of connection request packets to the connection place based on the number of extracted connection place identifiers.
