PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for punching presses with which press working is smoothly performed without catching or the like of scraps W1. SOLUTION: When sliding the cam cutting edge 34 of an upper die 3, the movement of the pad part 32 of the upper die 3 is not directly transmitted to the cam cutting edge 34, but a sliding cam 33 for sliding and moving the cam cutting edge 34 is provided between the cam cutting edge 34 and the pad part 32.
