The method involves assigning a separate control section to a manual input unit (4) or another input unit on a vehicle. The control section is operated by pressure actuation on a pushbutton, only in an actuation condition by an input of a voice command for respective components and/or component functions and/or additional functions to be controlled. A repeated execution of a delete function is performed for the voice command, by the repeated operation of the input unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing a method for controlling a component and auxiliary function of a vehicle comprising a computer-assisted vehicle control system.
