A portable terminal apparatus is provided to estimate the direction of a sound source in the thickness direction of a mobile terminal. A slide part(300) supports an upper box body(100) and a lower box body(200) so that they can slide. A guide(301) is formed at an upper side of the lower box body. An engagement portion(302) is formed at a lower side of the upper box body and is engaged with the guide so as to move along the guide. A display unit(110), a cross key(120), the first microphone(130), and the second microphone(140) are equipped in the upper box body. The microphones are separated as much as a certain distance(a1) from each other in the sliding direction of the upper box body. The key and the third microphone(220) are arranged in the lower box body.
