<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is possible in a conventional method to rightly recommend a program meeting the preference of a user but it is difficult to recommend such a program as digging up a new interest of the user although the program is slightly unmatched with the preference of the user. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to respective items (category, keyword, broadcast time, broadcast wave) that a user designates as a condition of automatic video-recording, on the basis of a marketing research, a degree of association is set that is an index indicating the similarity of each of options within the items. A condition having a comparatively high degree of association with an option designated by the user as a condition of automatic video recording is set as a new condition of automatic video recording, and a program is automatically video-recorded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
