<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living body measuring apparatus and a living body measuring method for calculating target biological information by determining a body shape of an individual user regardless of a region where the living body measuring device is placed to set a regression formula appropriate for the user. <P>SOLUTION: The living body measuring apparatus includes basic biological information acquisition means for acquiring basic biological information including a height, weight, and a biological electrical impedance of the user, storage means for storing a corresponding table having pieces of body shape information and the regression formula corresponding to the body shape information, body shape information acquisition means for acquiring body shape information of the user, regression formula setting means for selecting the regression formula by applying the body shape information of the user acquired by the body shape information acquisition means to the corresponding table, and operating means for calculating the target biological information by applying the basic biological information acquired by the basic biological information acquisition means to the regression formula selected by the regression formula setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
