<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe repairing method for thrusting a polyolefin pipe into a flat shape to stop water inside and for repairing the pipe to be sufficiently durable to inner pressure and outer pressure after restoring the pipe into a cylindrical shape. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe repairing method comprises externally fitting an electrofusion joint 2 movably to a polyethylene resin water pipe 1, thrusting and squeezing part of the pipe 1 to stop water inside 3, restoring a squeezed portion 4 of the pipe 1 into a cylindrical shape, and then fusing the joint 2 in which water is stopped or which is externally fitted thereto before restoring work to a restored portion 5 of the pipe 1 after moving it around the restored portion 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
