<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ignition to flammable gas even when a portable electronic terminal such as a portable phone is operated in an environment such as a hydrogen service station, an LPG service station, and a gasoline service station, and a CNG service station, where the flammable gas may leak. <P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic terminal such as the portable phone is equipped with: a gas detection part 1 which detects the flammable gas in the use environment atmosphere; and a power supply control part 9 which controls a power supply current value on the basis of a detection signal from the gas detection part 1. The power supply control part 9 has a function for reducing the power supply current value when the detection signal from the gas detection part 1 indicates that flammable gas concentration is equal to or more than a permitted value, and also displays on a display part a signal for making a user recognize an operation of the power supply control part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
