PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit transmission data from radio communication equipment. SOLUTION: A buffer length acquisition section 152 of a radio base station 150 acquires a buffer length of a delay buffer which is provided in a radio terminal and temporarily stores received data. A transmission section 153 transmits transmission data to a radio terminal that is a destination of the transmission data, and stores the transmission data into a retransmission buffer 154. The transmission data are retransmitted thereafter within the range of the buffer length of the radio terminal that is the destination of the transmission data, the buffer length having been acquired by the buffer length acquisition section.
