PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straddle-ride type vehicle having battery arrangement structure capable of improving controllability of a vehicle by concentrating heavy materials in one place. SOLUTION: This straddle-ride type vehicle 100 comprises a helmet housing box 20 having an opening 22 at a top surface thereof for putting in and out a helmet, an engine 40 disposed in front of the helmet housing box 20 in a position below the helmet housing box 20, a fuel spray device 44 disposed above the engine 40, and a battery housing part 10 disposed in front of the helmet housing box 20 in the vehicle direction above the fuel spray device 44, in which a battery 12 is housed in the battery housing part 10.
