When a knock rod is pushed from the state of writing time shown in Fig. 8A, the cam projection (3b) of a rotor turns to the right side and goes to a position shown in Fig. 8B. When the finger is released, the cam projection (3b) is slipped on the bevel and turned by the repulsion of a spring to go to a position shown in Fig. 8C via first vertical movement (distance d) and thence reaches a position shown in Fig. 8D via second vertical movement (distance e). The bevel of the cam projection (3b) collides twice against the bevel of an inner tube cam (2b) and its impact is transmitted to a refill (7), but the impact of one time collision on the refill can be reduced by providing a level difference between the first and second halves of the inner tube cam (2b) thereby shortening the one time vertical movement distance of the cam projection (3b).
