A method and a device for transitioning the multimedia session between the different access networks. First, the application server learns that the multimedia session of the user equipment will be transferred to several access networks; later, the application server receives several transferring request messages from the user equipment and integrates media information of the transferring request messages and sends the integrated the media information to the target user equipment.
