A system for aftertreatment of exhaust gas from a diesel vehicle is provided to reduce the consumption of high-price smoke filter by equipping foam type oxidation catalyst on the before the smoke filter. A system for aftertreatment of exhaust gas from a diesel vehicle comprises a honeycomb type smoke filter(20') which filters the particulate in the smoke and burns it, and a diesel oxidation catalyst(10) coated with precious metal catalyst and located before the smoke filter in order to oxidize harmful gas into CO2 and H2O and collect a part of smoke.
