<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt-telescopic steering device for smoothly adjusting a tilt position and a telescopic position, by integrating a gauge unit into a column. <P>SOLUTION: The gauge unit 19 is installed on an outer column 11, and a distance bracket 13 of this outer column 11 is sandwiched from both right-left sides by a vehicle body installing bracket 3, and the tilt direction and the telescopic direction are adjusted. Thus, when weight of the gauge unit 19 increases, and even if the moment acts so as to rotate the outer column 11 around its axis, the outer column 11 does not rotate, and is not wrenched. Thus, the tilt direction and the telescopic direction of the outer column 11 are smoothly adjusted, and since the gauge unit 19 can be moved by following an adjustment of the tilt direction and the telescopic direction of the outer column 11, a gauge can be always maintained in an easily visible state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
