PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve material productivity in a mutated microorganism having one or more multiply-deleted or inactivated proteases or a wild-type microorganism.

SOLUTION: The microorganism is obtained by deleting or inactivating htrA gene and/or htrB gene of Bacillus subtilis, or a gene corresponding to the gene. The gene corresponding to the gene signifies genes that include genes recognized to be functionally concordant with the htrA gene and/or the htrB gene of the Bacillus subtilis and originated from a microorganism except the Bacillus subtilis.
