<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance data recording density by reducing a range in which recording is made impossible when additional recording is performed later, due to post-curing performed on a prescribed range including a part in which data has been recorded and its peripheral part. <P>SOLUTION: A series of data to be recorded are recorded in a range spreading over a plurality of tracks TR arranged in one plane direction on a hologram recording medium HM, the range being a part in a track TR formation direction. The length in the track formation direction (the direction along the track) of a recorded part can be shortened by dividing and recording the series of data in the plurality of tracks formed in the above range. Thus, the length in the track formation direction of the part where additional recording is made impossible due to post curing can be shortened and recording density can be made higher accordingly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
