PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode choke coil that achieves improvement in immunity characteristics by making a coil structure into a structure that prevents malfunction of a transmission IC and a reception IC during an immunity test while suppressing a self-resonance frequency drop. SOLUTION: The common mode choke coil has a core 2, external electrodes 3-1 to 3-4, a pair of windings 4-1, 4-2, and magnetic plates 5-1, 5-2. The core 2 is composed of a core part 20 and a pair of flange parts 21, 22 at both ends of the core part. The external electrodes 3-1 to 3-4 are respectively formed at each lower part of the flange parts 21, 22. A pair of the windings 4-1, 4-2 is wound around the core part 20 of the core 2 while their end parts are connected to the external electrodes 3-1 to 3-4. An inner side-face 5b and a peripheral face 5c of the magnetic plate 5-1 are covered with a metal film 6. The magnetic plate 5-1 and the magnetic plate 5-2 are respectively bonded to the side faces 21c, 22c and the side faces 21d, 22d of the flange parts 21, 22 with an adhesive 7.
