PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus which can apply ICG as a contrast medium to observe an infrared image with good contrast. SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes light sources 1, a camera CCD15, and a processor 3, wherein the light sources 1 irradiate a subject with beams of infrared light having a wavelength of about 805 nm and about 930 nm: the CCD15 takes a photograph of the subject to input in the processor 3, and the processor 3 allocates one image of a wavelength of about 805 nm into a green signal and another image of a wavelength of about 930 nm into a blue signal to output on a monitor 4. The infrared image of a wavelength of about 805 nm much absorbed by an ICG, which is allocated to green color to give a large influence on human's contrast feeling, can be observed with good contrast on the application of ICG.
