PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a flat panel display excellent in coating characteristics and preservation stability, especially for forming a member of a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: The composition contains (A) an inorganic powder, (B) a binding resin, and (C) a compound represented by structural formula (1). The content of component (C) is 1-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of component (A). As component (A), a powder such as of lead glass, borosilicate glass, or aluminosilicate glass is used.
