PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake emergency operation information system of an elevator for informing the content of the earthquake emergency operation to interested persons by using an emergency earthquake flash report service by a cellular phone. SOLUTION: The system comprises a cellular phone terminal 10 for receiving an emergency earthquake flash report 6, an elevator control panel 8 having a P-wave signal terminal 24 and a low sensitivity seismometer signal terminal 26, a control terminal 12 with the cellular phone terminal connected thereto, and an acceleration sensor 13 provided on the control terminal to detect the oscillation of a building. When the cellular phone terminal receives the emergency earthquake flash report, the output of the emergency earthquake flash report signal and the output of the acceleration sensor are output to the P-wave signal terminal and the low sensitivity seismometer signal terminal of the elevator control panel to stop an elevator at a closest floor. It is reported that the elevator emergency operation by the emergency earthquake flash report is performed to a maintenance company reception system. The cellular phone terminal for receiving the emergency earthquake flash report has the mail function of performing the mail notification that the elevator emergency operation is performed to the cellular phone of an interested person.
