The present invention relates to spark plug for an internal combustion engine that comprises of center electrode, plug shell, ground electrode, height adjusting bolt, insulator, outer jacket, gasket, terminal nut, washer and lock nut. All these parts can be separated from each other due to which cleaning and maintenance of the spark plug becomes easy. The ground electrode proposed by this invention is "C" shaped. Due to "C" shape, larger sparking area is available between the ground electrode and center electrode. It ensures the occurrence of the proper sparking. It also causes complete combustion of air-fuel mixture and thereby improves the engine efficiency. Another novel feature of the present invention is adjustable center electrode.
