摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of an exhaust emission control catalyst due to overheating in a controller of a hybrid prime mover having an internal combustion engine and a motor connected to each other through a clutch and having a mode for stopping the internal combustion engine at least under a predetermined deceleration condition. <P>SOLUTION: When the temperature Tcat of the exhaust emission control catalyst is higher than a first predetermined temperature TcatH under the deceleration condition of accelerator opening 0, the engagement of the clutch is maintained to prohibit the stoppage of the internal combustion engine. When the temperature exceeds a second predetermined temperature TcatHH, fuel cut is prohibited and a refrigerant is cooled.
