<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method for stimulating or inhibiting angiogenesis and/or cardiovascularization in mammals including humans. <P>SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition comprises a polypeptide identified as one or more uses thereof, or an antagonist thereto.
