摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device which allows miniaturization of a vehicle drive or improves fuel consumption while avoiding shock during engine air-fuel ratio control, the vehicle drive having a differential mechanism for distributing engine outputs to a first electric motor and to an output shaft and having an electric motor provided on the output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The drive is provided which has a switching clutch C0 or a switching brake B0 so as to have the advantages of both the effect of improving the fuel consumption of a transmission where transmission ratio is electrically changed as a transmission mechanism 10 is switched between a continuously variable transmission state and a stepped transmission state, and the high transmission efficiency of a gear type transmission device for mechanically transmitting power.
