<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition preferable for a golf ball having high hardness, high strength and high resilience and excellent in extrusion forming property, and a golf ball using the composition as a rubber base material. <P>SOLUTION: In the rubber composition for the golf ball, 10-50 pts.mass of a co-crosslinking agent (C) is formulated based on 100 pts.mass of a rubber component (A)+(B) comprising: 90-5 mass% of a vinyl-cis-polybutadiene rubber (A) comprising 1-30 mass% of a specific syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene crystalline fiber (b) in which an average of fiber length of the crystalline fiber is 200 nm or shorter, an average of an aspect ratio is 10 or smaller, the number of crystalline fibers having fiber length of 200 nm or shorter is 90 or more per 25μm<SP>2</SP>and a melting point is 170°C or higher and 99-70 mass% of cis-polybutadiene rubber (a); and 10-95 mass% of a diene based rubber (B) other than (A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
