<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball 2 excellent in its flying performance and control performance when hit at a lower head speed. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball 2 has a spherical core 4 and a cover 6 covering the core 4. The core 4 comprises the spherical center 8 and an intermediate layer 10 covering the center 8. The repulsion coefficients Ec, Em and Eb of the center 8, the core 4 and the golf ball 2 satisfy the following expressions (1) and (2): Ec>Eb≥Em (1) and Eb-Em≥Ec-Eb (2) wherein a difference (Eb-Em) between the repulsion coefficient Eb and the repulsion coefficient Em is 0.004 or more, while a difference (Ec-Eb) between the repulsion coefficient Ec and the repulsion coefficient Eb is 0.004 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
