<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolitized foamed glass production technique where energy required for the production of a zeolitized foamed glass is reduced, and a zeolitized foam glass of high quality can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The zeolitized foamed glass production equipment 50 comprises: a firing means A where glass powder admixed with a foaming agent is heated and foamed, so as to form a foamed glass; a crushing means B1 granulating the foamed glass formed by the firing means A; a solution infiltrating means B2 impregnating the granular foamed glass formed by the crushing means B1 with a zeolitization solution; and a heating means C and a microwave irradiating means D zeolitizing the granular foamed glass impregnated with the zeolitization solution. In the firing means A, a preheating zone 52, a firing furnace 53 and a cooling zone 54 are arranged along the carrying direction of a roller conveyer 51, and inhalation apparatuses 55, 56 arranged on the downstream side of the preheating zone 52 and the cooling zone 54 inhale high temperature air at the upper part of the roller conveyer 51, so as to be fed to the heating means C and microwave irradiating means D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
