PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubbing roll of excellent workability in regeneration allowing the regeneration by any person, when a raising provided in an outer circumference of a rotary drum is abraded. SOLUTION: The rubbing roll 204 includes the rotary drum 204a, an adhesive layer 204b formed by applying an adhesive in the outer circumference of the rotary drum 204a, and a raising layer 204c comprising innumerable filaments F implanted in the adhesive layer 204b.
