PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plate member inspection equipment capable of efficiently performing the inspection work of one surface (surface to be supported), though the surface is always supported to be fed. SOLUTION: A lift moving means 41 and a reversal moving means 51 are provided to the part opposed to a visual inspection part B in a feed route 1 of a plate member Ga by a feed device 10. The lift moving means is constituted of the lift member 42 positioned under the feed surface 1A, a lift device 46, and the plate member lifting body 47 freely advancing and retreating with respect to the feed surface and provided to the lift member. The reversal moving means is constituted of a moving member 52 freely moving in a width direction 1W, the lateral moving device 55 cooperating with the lower part of the moving member, the revolving member 61 provided to the upper part of the moving member so as to be freely revolved around a horizontal axis 63A, the revolving device 65 of the revolving member and the plate member holding device 71 positioned on the side of the rear surface 61A when the revolving member is held to a horizontal posture. The revolving device is constituted so as to revolve the revolving member between the horizontal posture wherein the plate member holding device is positioned in opposed relation to the feed surface of the feed route and an inclined posture wherein the plate member holding device is positioned in an erected state with respect to the feed surface.
