PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device applicable without changing a basic control circuit of a trailer, and capable of stopping starting of a tractor unconnected with a trailer single body even if a driver overlooks a warning lamp, with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This safety device has a safety connection sensor 21 detecting a connection state, a solenoid switch 22 for turning on or off by receiving a signal from this safety connection sensor 21, and a fuel cut circuit 23 arranged on the output side of this solenoid switch 22.
