PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of securing stability of the holding state of a puncturing needle in paracentesis, easily changing the setting of the implantation angle and puncturing position of the puncturing needle in an adapter for puncture without damaging safety and improving efficiency of the paracentesis. SOLUTION: The adapter 1 for the puncture includes a switching mechanism 5 capable of performing switching between a state of fixing the implantation angle and the state of releasing the puncturing needle N from an angle fixing part 8 and a state of not fixing the implantation angle, by displacing the relative position of a puncturing needle holding part 3 for holding the puncturing needle N in a movable state and the angle fixing part 8 for fixing the implantation angle of the puncturing needle N.
