#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves determining temperature of a part of a drive and temperature of environment of the drive, and calculating temporally the difference between two temperatures. The current value of the difference and operating information of the drive is determined from temporal distribution of the difference, where the operating information is aging value, oil aging value, operation hours, remaining life time and maintenance time limit.
