#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a housing (1) for a mechanical component e.g. motor-gear unit. A sensor (3) e.g. pressure sensor, temperature sensor, acceleration sensor, is provided, in inside of the housing for recording single or multiple operating parameters such as viscosity. A converter (4) e.g. electroacoustic converter, is provided inside the housing for producing acoustic waves (5). A modulator (6) modulates signals produced by the sensor to the acoustic waves.
