DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING THE INNER DIAMETER OF RING GEAR IN THE NONCONTACT MODE

A contactless measuring device for the inner diameter of a ring gear and a method thereof are provided to reduce measurement errors and improve measurement speed by carrying out the measurement by a laser sensor. A laser sensor(400) vertically radiates laser beams to the inner peripheral surface of a ring gear(200) by the number of points to measure according to the rotation of the ring gear and receives light receiving data. A ring gear hold part(300) rotates the ring gear in the fixed state. A calculation part(620) calculates a mean value of the inner diameter measurement values according to the light receiving data. A determination part(630) determines whether the error between the measured mean value and a set mean value is in an allowable error range or not.
