<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor when an amplification rate of a voltage is adjusted according to the amount of light emitted from a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element controller is provided with a light receiving element for receiving a light emitted from a light emitting element for emitting a light to irradiate a recording medium therewith and generating a current according to the amount of light, a current-voltage conversion circuit for converting the current generated by the light receiving element into a voltage to output it, a voltage amplification circuit for amplifying the voltage from the current-voltage conversion circuit to output it, a light amount adjusting part for adjusting the amount of light emitted from the light emitting part based on the voltage output from the voltage amplification circuit, and an amplification rage adjustment part for adjusting the amplification rate of the voltage amplification part so as to set the voltage output from the voltage amplification circuit to a predetermined level when the amount of light from the light emitting part is equal to a predetermined amount based on the voltage output from the voltage amplification circuit according to the amount of light emitted from the light emitting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
