<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle capable of reducing the number of components and assembling man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: A male member A has a body part 10, a pair of engagement members 30 and a pair of resilient members 50. The body part has a belt attachment part 11 and a base part 21, and the base part has storage portions 25A and 25B for storing parts of the engagement members, and openings 27 for exposing the engagement members. The engagement member has an engagement part being engageable with a female member and stored movably in the inner/outer directions of the storage portion of the base part.
