PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control variation and offsets in the distribution of particle sizes and the status of dispersion during formation and provide hollow ceramic parts having high reliability in a high yield. SOLUTION: A method of forming a hollow ceramic part comprises preparing a kneaded mixture of a ceramic powder and a thermoplastic resin, inserting a core 3 having a resin portion 2 and a rod-shaped pin 1 arranged so as to penetrate the resin portion 2 into a mold 4 and fixing the core, injecting the kneaded mixture into between the mold 4 and the core 3, to form a molding 5 and drawing out the pin 1 from the mold 4 to form a hollow ceramic part. The pin 1 has a substrate and a coating layer formed on the surface of the substrate and composed of at least one of titanium nitride, chromium nitride and titanium carbonitride.
