PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress clogging of a filter to reduce a rate of deterioration to the filter in an oil mist trap having the filter capable of catching oil from an oil mist-containing gas, and a rotary equipment having such an oil mist trap inside thereof. SOLUTION: The oil mist trap T includes a feed port A1x to introduce the oil mist-containing gas, and the filter A2 trapping the oil mist from the oil mist-containing gas introduced from the feed port A1x, and further, includes a heating device A3 which is the heat source heating the filter.
