PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella easily carried by reducing or stabilizing the swing of the umbrella when closing the umbrella and walking with the umbrella hung to an arm. SOLUTION: This umbrella is provided with a grip part 21 being held in a hand when putting up an umbrella, and a handle part 22 being not a string and hung and fixed to an arm, a rod body or the like when the umbrella is closed with the side of a ferrule 24 facing downward, and the handle 22 is provided at a lower part of the grip part 21 when holding the umbrella with the side of the ferrule facing downward and the grip 21 facing upward.
