PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of steaming which permits the interior of the water vessel of the steam generation means to be easily cleaned and is easy to use. SOLUTION: The cooker includes a baking vessel having a heating means in the interior of the main body, a steam generation means 50 to evaporate water in the water vessels 54 by heating the water vessels 54, a cooking vessel 16 removably mounted, a rotary shaft 20 provided through the inner bottom portion of the cooking vessel 16 and keeping a stirring blade 18 mounted on the upper end, and a driving means 30 provided below the cooking vessel 16 and to rotationally drive the rotary shaft 20 of the cooking vessel 16. In the cooker in which the steam generation means 50 supplies steam to the cooking vessel 16, water vessels 54 have an engagingly connecting portion 40 connecting the driving means 30 and the rotary shaft 20. The engagingly connecting portion 40 has a switching means 46 to engage with the driving means 30 with the cooking vessel 16 attached, and releasing from the engagement with the driving means 30 with the cooking vessel 16 detached.
