PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily pull out a paper end portion, surely cut toilet paper, and easily replace a roll in a toilet paper holder. SOLUTION: This toilet paper holder has a paper storage part 2 for storing a toilet paper roll, a paper pull-out part 3, a cover support part 4 attached to a first turning shaft in the upper part of the rear half part of the paper storage part, and a cover part 5 attached to a second turning shaft of the cover support part; when the front edge 5a1 of the cover plate 5a is forward moved along the upper face of a paper end mounting plate 3a with the paper end portion TP pulled out, the cover support part 4 is turned about the first turning shaft P1, the cover part 5 is turned about the second turning shaft P2, a spring 5d is elongated, and a lever pushing plate 5c pushes a crank lever 3f to turn a movable plate 3d and fit it in a notch part, thereby clamping the toilet paper between the front edge of the movable plate and the front edge of the cover plate.
