A method, application server and user device for transferring the media flow of the multimedia session. A first user device sends a media flow transferring request of the multimedia session to an application server; the media flow transferring request includes the identification of a third user device and the media type of the media flow requested to be transferred; the third user device and the second user device establish a media flow of the media type under the control of the application server.
