摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique providing an illumination device which light-emits a comparatively wide area and which is physically downsized. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are: a lens unit used for the illumination device using a belt-like substrate (10) and a plurality of LED (11) continuously fixed in the longitudinal direction of the substrate (10); and the illumination device using that lens unit. The lens unit is equipped with: a first lens (20) adjacent to the LED (11); and a second lens (30) positioned on the opposite LED (11) side of that first lens (20), and the first lens (20) and the second lens (30) are cylindrical lenses for the purpose of light collection, and formed by a convex curved face in which at least one face of an incident light face or a light-emitting face is formed by not fixing the curvature of a surface formed by a cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
