PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid inclination and falling down of a laminated body of spacers and glass plates in the step successively placing the spacer upon the glass plate, or the like, to attempt smoothing and speedup of the operation in the step, and to make a tough package body for plate-like articles by a simple technique. SOLUTION: The package body 11 for the plate-like articles is made by packing the plate-like articles under a condition that the spacers 1 are interposed between respective plate-like articles of a plurality of the plate-like articles G stacked in the vertical direction. On a bottom plate 12, the laminated body 15 having the spacers 1 and the plate-like articles G is placed. Parts or the whole of the outer peripheral edge parts of the spacers 1 are protruded outward from the outer peripheral edge parts of the plate-like articles G, and a plurality of notch parts 10 are formed on the outer peripheral edge parts of the protruded parts so as not to interfere with the arranging regions of the plate-like articles G, and a plurality of engaging members 13 raised and fixed on the bottom plate 12 are respectively engaged to a plurality of the notch parts 10 of the spacers 1.
