PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine, enabling main lighting partially blink without switching off by dividing the main lighting for illuminating a sales handling surface into each commodity sample panel, thereby producing the effect of appealing a sales available state to a user from a distance without damaging energy saving. SOLUTION: With the provision of: a lighting means 43 divided into each commodity sample panel on the sales handling surface; and a control section 81a for controlling the lighting means 43 according to a lighting mode arbitrarily set, a portion of the commodity sample panel can be lit without entirely switching off the lighting means 43.
