PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner having stable charging characteristics by preventing a charge control resin from separating from the surface of an electrostatic charge image developing toner, so that variation in the charge amount of the electrostatic charge image developing toner is suppressed. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by grafting a charge control resin onto the surface of a colored polymerized resin particle containing a colorant and a binder resin, wherein the charge control resin is grafted by living polymerization from a living polymerization initiating group present on the surface of the colored polymerized resin particle.
